Allie

4 Year Old Dutch Warmblood Mare

By Orame out of Jumara keur

Allie is a very talented 4 year old filly who show aptitude for a serious career in either jumping or dressage, expected from her breeding (see below for more information on her breeding).  Allie has approximately 90 days under saddle and can be ridden by a professional or an advanced amateur (still working on steering).  She has a PHENOMENAL brain and likes to work.  Easy to handle and quite willing, she also has a brave and inquisitive personality.  Trailers easily, learning to clip and tie.

Dam, Jumara (keur) was trained through 3rd level dressage before taking "maternity leave".  Subsequently imported from Holland to the US, Jumara comes from the Furioso and Nimmerdor (preferent) stallion lines, including Wellington (who competed successfully at ZZ level dressage and sired top dressage horses such as: Farrington, Bolvorms, Ceylon and Luxaflex) and the famed international jumping stallion Emilion keur who has sired many International and World Cup horses such as: Glasgow,VDL Emmerton, VDL Nantes, Enorm, Inspiration, Miss Montana, Fritsy, Jashar, VDL Lotus, Exel, Jemilion, and Karina.  Not to be outdone, Jumara’s motherline is quite impressive.  Jumara needs only one more foal to be presented and receive “Ster” or higher to be an “Elite” mare - Jumara has a keur daughter in Holland and produced Allie's full sibling "Viktor" who was "ster" rated, site Champion and the National Champion Dressage Gelding for KWPN-NA in 2007.  The granddam, Fumara (keur preferent prestatie) showed in Holland though Z2 dressage and was out of the keur preferent prestatie mare, Umara.  Dressage horses coming from this mother line include: Furmara (national dressage horse shown through Z2), Ischa (national dressage horse with sport predicate), Jersey (national dressage horse shown through Z2+7), Gumara (keur mare, national dressage horse L1+9 and national jumping horse M+5), Amara (national dressage horse (M+2 and national jumping horse L+3), Plato (approved stallion, national dressage horse invited to young horse championships in Verden), Kadans (national dressage horse (Z1 +10) and Viktor (ster) (2007 #1 dressage gelding in USA KWPN keurings).

Sire, Orame VDL (by the preferent stallion, Indoctro) was ridden in the US by Chris Kappler and is now campaigning back in Europe.  Orame became Champion of the Stallion Selection in Den Bosch at the age of 3 and Champion of the Stallion Test with high marks for the basic gaits and jumping. He is the first stallion to become both the Champion in the Stallion Selection and the Stallion Test! In his report, Orame was said to be, “a very talented as a dressage horse as well as a show jumper".  His pedigree is also rich in both dressage and jumping horses.  Great, great grandsire Calypso I is the full brother to world champion dressage mare, Granat.  ˝ brother to Orame, Zenith (Indoctro), bred in the US, was 3rd at Dressage at Devon in 2004 before being purchased by the VDL Stud and being exported to Holland.  He is well on his way to being an approved stallion in Holland, having made it through the first round of stallion selections and being invited to return for the next round. Another ˝ brother to Orame (Indoctro), VDL Windsor H was named not only Vice-Champion of the FEI Dressage Test, but was also the Vice-Champion of the 2008 Canadian Stallion Performance Test, was the Champion Hunter and won the 5 year old Canadian Jumper Development class – all in 3 months!  Orame’s daughter, Wings, was 3rd at Dressage at Devon.  And, of course, Orame carries with him the lines of Ramiro, who is still at the top of the indexes in both jumping and dressage for many breed organizations.   Among his dressage progeny are Damiro, Zeoliet, Ramirez and the stallion, Rio Negro, who became a Grand Prix Dressage horse under Willi Schultheis.

Although breeding is not everything, it certainly is a good indicator of a horse's potential.  Allie has bloodlines rich in successes in both jumping and dressage and should have an excellent performance career.
